Your honeymoon may be the most important trip in your life and we know there is no way you would consider canceling! However, sometimes the unexpected happens. Have you made plans to protect your honeymoon?
Why do you need travel protection? Protecting your investment in your honeymoon is similar to protecting your house or the car you drive. It protects you from the unknown events or circumstances that could happen on your trip.
I recently had clients that were stranded in Miami at the airport because the island they were going to had an airport strike, which means no planes were allowed to land or leave the island. They couldn't get a flight into the island for two days! While their travel protection couldn't magically open the airport up for them, their policy did cover their hotel nights in Miami, their rental car, and assisted with other services as well. They were traveling with another couple that had not purchased the travel protection and who ended up having to pay for everything! You might guess that couple immediately regretted that they didn’t purchase travel protection.
Here are some examples of things you might be protected from:

Sandals Regency La Toc St. Lucia
- Sickness, accidental injury, or death
- Being hijacked, quarantined, subpoenaed, or asked to serve on jury duty
- Home or destination is made uninhabitable
- Traffic accident en route to departure
- Terrorist attack
- Strike
- Job loss or lay off
- Natural disaster at destination
- Mandatory evacuation
- Extension of school year
- Luggage lost by the airlines
- Each policy differs with age, dates of travel, purchase date of policy, destination traveled to, and other factors.
The main reason to purchase travel protection is NOT because you might not go. Travel Protection is the best decision you can make for your honeymoon. We recommend it to every single honeymoon couple with whom we work.
