Get to Know Carnival Dream

It's one thing to be fun, but it's another thing to be first. Carnival Dream was at the forefront of a recent wave of amazingly innovative and fun Carnival ships. As the genesis of the Dream class, Carnival Dream set the direction for the ships that followed in her footsteps — first Carnival Magic and then Carnival Breeze.

But back to Carnival Dream: the ship itself is a unique experience with the way-fun RedFrog Rum Bar® and the very cool BlueIguana Tequila Bar. Get your appetite ready, because you're gonna need it. Carnival Dream features two dual-level dining rooms, a gourmet steakhouse and dedicated sushi spot Bonsai Sushi. It's also got a full menu of our latest and greatest casual spots for a bite: BlueIguana Cantina, Pizzeria del Capitano, Guy's Burger Joint and Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse. (That's Guy as in Guy Fieri, by the way — so you know the food's delish.)

Carnival Dream also features the borderline-magical Alchemy Bar® and Ocean Plaza, which combines tasty treats with perhaps even tastier entertainment. Entertainment options are all up and down the ship, and so is soaking-wet fun, from the heart-racing waterslide action at Carnival WaterWorks to the soul-soothing Thalassotherapy pool at the Cloud 9 Spa.

Despite its name, Carnival Dream is definitely a reality. Can't believe it? Pinch yourself... and book your dream cruise today.

Costa Maya
1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Cruise to Costa Maya for an irresistible blend of serene beaches, action-packed activities and the best flavors south of the border. Mexico’s vivid Caribbean coast will appear just beyond the dock when your Carnival cruise visits Costa Maya. Silver dolphins, bright yellow angelfish, turquoise waves, ivory sand — these are just some selections from Costa Maya’s palette that you can expect to see on your Carnival Costa Maya adventure. Inland from the port are more brilliant hues, from the otherworldly shades of blue at the Lake of Seven Colors to the white stone pyramids of the ancient Maya. This bounty of beauty is yours to explore when you cruise to Costa Maya.
Peek under the surface with the partially-excavated Chacchoben ruins.
Get your wheels spinning with vehicle options like bikes, ATVs and more.
Scuba dive with moray eels and docile nurse sharks in the Great Mesoamerican Reef.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
There are plenty of reasons why a cruise to Belize should top your travel bucket list. A tropical paradise that promises adventure, both onshore and off? You better Belize it! Crystalline rivers flow through impressive lowland jungles, home to wildlife of various stripes. (And various spots.) Silky-sand beaches, waving palms and colorful coral gardens are just part of Belize’s natural wonders. And they’re all yours to explore when you take a cruise to Belize, where surprises await around every corner, including underwater. Whether mountain biking through a lush rainforest or snorkeling with the marine life, you’ll experience things you can only imagine… that is, if you haven’t tried a Belize vacation yet.
The Cayo District is where you’ll find an impressive system of underground rivers and caves.
Go exploring, old-school-style, with local ancient ruins Cahal Pech, Altun Ha, or Xuananunich.
Enjoy snorkeling on this hemisphere’s largest barrier reef.

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Cozumel is proof that Mexico can do ‘island flavor’ with the best of the Caribbean. It may not be the biggest island in the sea, but Cozumel offers a huge variety of things to do, see, taste and explore. This island just happens to be perched atop a coral reef, which promises hours of snorkeling or scuba diving fun. Cruises to Cozumel dock at the island’s heart — just minutes from San Miguel’s seafront shops and the white sand beach at Chankanaab National Park. Drift among star corals and sea fans on a Cozumel diving excursion or simply kick back on the beach beneath your own palm palapa as the turquoise waves roll in. With non-stop zip line action, ancient discoveries at the nearby Mayan ruins, or time spent with your toes in the sand, a cruise to Cozumel may just top your best vacations list… before you even get home.
Cruise to Cozumel for a scuba diving adventure along the Great Mesoamerican Reef.
Enjoy a leisurely day of snorkeling with iridescent fish at Chankanaab National Park.
Swim with the flippy guys at Dolphinaris.

Click the Carnival logo below to be taken to the page where you can browse and add drink packages, internet service, etc to your booking:

If you do not add an internet package, please remember to keep your phone in "airplane mode" to avoid international charges while sailing.

The "Carnival Hub" app for both iPhone and android has a chat function that does not require internet service to communicate with others on the ship.

You will also need this app to check-in for your cruise, etc. so be sure to download and install to your phone prior to the cruise.

Click on logo below to download the app for android:

Click on the link below to download the app for iPhone

But does it really cost that much to just leave my phone on while I'm on a cruise?

Once you've drifted away from the nearest land-based cell tower, your phone will go into roaming mode. That's when hefty charges can start to accrue. We're not talking about your average international roaming charges, but extra-expensive satellite roaming charges, which can be as pricey as $7.95 per minute.

Surfing the internet, using social media, reading emails or checking the weather will all use data charged at a premium rate. Phone calls and messages, regardless if they are incoming or outgoing, will also be charged at a premium.

If you want to avoid extra charges from your mobile phone service provider, put your smartphone on "airplane mode" sometime between boarding and when the ship sets sail.

Even if you're not actively using your phone, your smartphone is constantly utilizing data in the background, racking up charges you're not even aware of. Better to keep cellular service off.

Enjoy the ease of paying one flat price for your spirited beverages over the entire length of your cruise. Now, that’s something to cheer about! Save 10% by purchasing before you sail.

Cheers package begins on Day 2 for ships sailing from Texas and New York - activation will occur at 6:00am on the second day of the cruise.

Applicable state and local taxes will be charged to the guest folio when this program is used within US waters. The tax is based on the state's tax structure and the cost of the individual drink purchased (not the daily program rate). For example: if the drink price is $5 and the tax is 10%, the guest's Sail & Sign card will be charged $0.50 for tax. This applies to all US ports (embarkation home ports and ports-of-call). Cheers Package is inclusive of VAT, if and as applicable on European cruises. Package is non-transferable and non-refundable after 10:00pm ET the evening before departure.
